The Night Safari is the world's first nocturnal zoo and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Singapore. Hop onboard the tram and psyche yourself for a 40-minute journey of wild animal encounters! Journey from the Himalayan foothills to wild Equitorial Africa, this tram ride offers live commentary. Get a chance to come up-close with lions, tigers, tapirs, deer and more! Set in a forest clearing, the Creatures of the Night Show a 20-minute animal presentation will introduce you to nocturnal animals, from the elusive owl to nimble binturongs to intuitive civets. Unlike traditional nocturnal houses, which reverse the day-night cycle of animals so they will be active by day, the Night Safari is an entire open-air zoo set in a humid tropical forest that is only open at night. It is divided into eight geographical zones, which can be explored either on foot via three walking trails, or by tram. The animals of the Night Safari, ranging from Indian rhinoceros to tarsiers, are made visible by lighting that resembles moonlight. Although it is brighter than full moonlight by a few orders of magnitude, it is dim enough not to disturb nocturnal and crepuscular animals' behaviour. London based lighting designer Simon Corder created the lighting for Night Safari. Exhibits in the safari come from South America and parts of Asia.Creatures of the Night Show is a performance presented by the animals in the Night Safari. Food and beverage outlets in the Night Safari include Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant, Bongo Burgers, and Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shop. Visitors can also experience dining on the move with the Cocktail Safari Express and Gourmet Safari Express.

We will visit a peaceful and calm island just a short scenic cable car ride from Mount Faber. Upon reaching the island, we will see the Dolphin Lagoon where we can watch adorable pink dolphins performing tricks such as spy-hop, tail-flapping and vocalizations. A voyage to the bottom of the sea will be next on our agenda as we go to Underwater World, an 80-meter transparent acrylic tunnel which gives an opportunity to view over 2,500 sea creatures in close proximity. The next activity will be a journey to experience the colorful culture and vibrant heritage of Singapore re-told through life-size figures, animatronics and special effects at Images of Singapore. You can also enjoy the sky & luge ride. We will then head for the Musical Fountain, Wings of time and be enthralled by this state-of-the-art dramatic display of lasers and computer graphics, water jets and flames.

An exciting ecological adventure awaits you at the Singapore Zoo, with over 3,000 animals in their natural spacious habitats. Stroll along the shaded boardwalks and observe the animals as they frolic amidst lush surroundings. Bring your whole family to the Singapore Zoo, and be thrilled by entertaining and educational shows and adventures. Animals are kept in spacious, landscaped enclosures separated from the visitors by either dry or wet moats. The moats are concealed with vegetation or dropped below the line of vision. Dangerous animals that can climb well are housed in landscaped glass-fronted enclosures. The zoo has not expanded beyond the original 28 hectares. However, 40 hectares of secondary forest were later developed into the Night Safari. The remaining undeveloped land has been kept as wooded land. This and the waters of Upper Seletar Reservoir contribute to the Zoo, giving it a sense of natural, unrestricted space. The zoo also offers various modes of rides available within the premises: trams, animals, boat, pony and horse carriage rides. Strollers, wagons, and wheelchairs can also be rented. The "Jungle Breakfast" option includes special animal appearances such as those by the Orang Utan, the recycling Otter and the magnificent reticulated Python. They will perform amazing stints as you savor breakfast from a selection of popular items

NIGHT SAFARI
The opportunity to see a myriad of nocturnal animals in the secondary jungle full of mystery and drama will be yours. Look out for fierce predators and timid forest dwellers in their natural habitat under the subtle glow of the moon. You need not worry about safety because we will be traveling in a tram which takes us through the east and west loop passing by a large reservoir and weaving through selected habitats designed specifically to replicate the natural environment from the Himalayan Foothills to the Southeast Asian Rainforest and Indian Subcontinent.
